Randomly generate Japanese full names (family + given) with furigana and romaji, for test data and sample names
A free tool that randomly generates Japanese full names (family name + given name) with kanji, furigana (hiragana reading) and romaji. It is handy for creating test data / dummy data for development, testing, demos, UI checks and seeding databases. Generate any number of names at once and copy or download them.
No. Each name is a random combination of a family name and a given name and does not refer to any real person. All processing runs entirely in your browser and the results are never sent to or stored on a server. A random result may coincidentally match a real name, so please review before publishing or distributing.
Yes. Choose from Kanji only, Kanji + furigana, Kanji + romaji, or All. Romaji uses a Hepburn-style spelling and is output in given-name family-name order. Copy or download as CSV to import into Excel, spreadsheets or a database.
